About
Dr. Jongbae Jay Park
Jongbae “Jay” Park, KMD, PhD, LAc, is a clinician and researcher of acupuncture and Asian medicine. He is chief clinician at Meridius Clinic for Integrative Health and an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Park provides non-opioid, non-pharmacological services. His educational background includes a Korean Medicine Doctor (KMD), a PhD in Korean medicine from Kyung Hee University, and a PhD and post-doctoral fellowship in medical sciences (clinical sciences) from the University of Exeter, UK. His earlier faculty appointments include Harvard Medical School, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Duke University. Dr. Park also reviewed for journals including The Lancet, BMJ and the government agencies of US, Denmark, Hong Kong, and Korea. He takes parts in the editorial process of the Complementary Therapies in Medicine and Acupuncture in Medicine.
